Like many doctors of chiropractic, Dr. Chris Hoelscher's first chiropractic experience was as a patient. While an undergraduate at the University of Illinois, he was involved in a motorcycle accident, which left him with a serious back injury. After undergoing a number of unsuccessful treatments by the medical profession, he was told that he would “have to learn to live with the pain." As a last resort, Dr. Hoelscher went to a chiropractor.

Following his first treatment, he got RESULTS! Shortly after he was successfully treated for his back injury by a chiropractor, Dr. Hoelscher enrolled at Logan Chiropractic College in Chesterfield, Missouri. Upon graduation in 1984, Dr. Hoelscher, his wife, Debi, and their daughter, Jessica, moved to Bloomington where he began his first practice in October. After nearly twenty-four years in practice, he has treated over 10,000 patients with a variety of health concerns. Dr. Hoelscher welcomes all new patients; however, he thrives on the more challenging cases where no one else has been able to help. With his expertise.... our patients get RESULTS!

In their effort to deliver quality chiropractic care to as many patients as possible, Dr. Hoelscher and his wife, Debra, have helped to establish clinics in the following Illinois communities: Pontiac (Livingston County Chiropractic Clinic), Morton (Heartland Chiropractic Clinic), Morris (Twin Oaks Chiropractic Clinic), and most recently, Mahomet (Mahomet Chiropractic and Wellness Center).  "We decided early on that if we were to deliver the best chiropractic care possible, we would only use the most advanced equipment and train our staff to perform their duties with the highest level of professionalism. We will not compromise when it comes to our patients. If we can help, we will tell you - if we can't - we'll find someone who can." Our primary goal is to educate our patients so they can make an informed decision regarding their healthcare.

Fauser_1_.jpgWe are pleased to welcome Dr. Ashley Fauser to our office! Dr. Ashley, a native of Morton, graduated from Morton High School in 1995. While attending Morton High School, she participated in softball, setting a number of records and even earned the honor of having her #15 jersey retired.

Dr. Ashley received a full softball scholarship to the University of Wisconsin. She played Big Ten softball all four years while completing her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Certificate in English. While at the University of Wisconsin, she set and still holds a number of Big Ten records.

It was her dream to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, due to her own personal life experiences. As a child, she suffered a fall on the ice that temporarily prevented her from functioning normally and was unable to get in and out of bed without assistance from family and experiencing extreme pain. Dr. Ashley's parents decided to give chiropractic care a try. After the initial visit, she experienced some relief and after multiple visits she recovered completely. Ever since this time, she has visited a chiropractor on a regular basis; especially to help her with her game of softball, ensure proper function of her nervous system and allowing her to perform at an optimum level.

Dr. Ashley attended Logan College of Chiropractic, one of the top chiropractic colleges in the United States. While at Logan, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree as well as her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Since having seen first-hand what chiropractic care can do, she was inspired to learn how to help others as she had been helped. Dr. Ashley is passionate about assisting people to reach their full health potential and in educating others on the benefits of chiropractic care.
